It appears we are are yet again losing valuable resources that could better our future due to the extreme right, aka religious fundamentalists, and there believes in "intelligent design," stating some imaginary god created the world. Like the main chairpersons of the science board who wanted to come here said this would have been a perfect city to host a pro science convention, but due to a few crybabies who believe the world was created in 7 days*cough*bullshit *cough* the group has opted out to come here, and decided to go to Salt Lake City. Quite frankly I find it highly disturbing that Mormon central is more receptive to this group than a city that touts we want to grow, we want to better our children.
So what is it folks, education reform for the better or to live in the gender biased, homophobic, misinformed curriculum for our kids?
I grow so weary of this people trying to dictate and tell us, what they feel is correct, I mean honestly its quite sad to see people that duped by tales of fantasy. When will people take charge of themselves and quit dragging invisible friends into there battles?
On another noted if you did not check it out the first time in theaters, rent... No buy Religilous, its a funny but sobering look at how religions cause nothing but trouble.
