motivation problems- and I lost the lottery

Mar 14, 2010 15:46

I've been so unmotivated for so long. I tried for 5mo or so to actually make progress in my life, but when I look at it critically, there is really nothng I have done since I started this job in September. I haven't made any progress in simplifying my life. My to-do list is no shorter, In fact I don't even know how long it is, prob 300+ items. ( demotivated... )

I'm sure it will be fine. He's OK with it... I actually think my dad may be more upset!! :)

It's not the last time that little guy will have a chance to make history! I explaind it to him that way and he seemed like he was good with it.

I understood you right at saying you will be 15 years old in June?

going back and re reading it, I don't know how I confused that. I even read it twice. I feel dumb! :)
I'll tell you why I asked, please endure my story, I hope you think it's funny!

I've been dig'n your writing about running and printed how to run 5K in 8 weeks. I'm going to try it this year. And some of the other athletic stuff you've mentioned. You have inspired me, I'm quite a lil' athletic person myself but I have a LOT of work to do now to get where I want. I'm 36 with a 4 year old daughter. Anyway, in my confusion about the age, 15 surprised me and I thought, oh gosh, I can't keep up with a 15 year old! No wonder this chick can run like hell. Hmmm, she didn't mention parents going with her to Vancouver. And I wondered if they let you go alone- at 15.
I feel silly but glad to share it...*blushing* :)

I know how you feel. Do you think medication would help? I'm not endorsing it my any means, but sometimes it's the only thing that will make a difference. :/

I'm not really depressed, I know that. I am getting my period soon, so that will have some bearing on the way I feel this week. :)

I am disappointed with my inability to make a difference in my own life despite what I think is hard work and sacrifice.

" I am disappointed with my inability to make a difference in my own life despite what I think is hard work and sacrifice. "

But I read you're entries and you're working so hard! Trust me, you're making a difference, but it might not be obvious at the moment. If you're working hard and sacrificing, you're bound to see results. Change takes time and patience, as much as that sucks. Good luck and keep on keeping on ;)
