(no subject)
I posted a new picture. It was taken at my favorite bar, The Gin Mill, about a month ago. I like that bar. I have fun there. I think it's mainly because of the people I go there with, but it's still a cool place to hang out.
I haven't updated this in a while, but I've been thinking a lot lately and I need to start getting it out on "paper" again, like I used to. It could be the drunk talking, because I don't have to work tomorrow, I had a crazy hectic day, and I just felt like drinking tonight...but you know. I still think I need to start this thing back up.
My life isn't that exciting usually, but lately it's been pretty crazy. Just ask my closest friends and they'll tell you. I'm dating again, after being in a 2.5 year relationship that ended on my terms, and dating can be enough to send anyone to a convent...but I'm sticking with it because I know the right guy is out there, and I can't start panicking until I turn 30. haha! (start laughing now)
Anyway, I'm babbling, but since I can't get to Livejournal from work, I might just write things out at work in WORD and copy them over to Livejournal at night. So my Livejournal might get kind of interesting. haha! We'll see. :)
BTW: Sarah and Jon's Hayden is the cutest puppy to ever live (except for the puppies I've had, of course) and everyone should be jealous. :) Oh, and I'm going to see my Alison in 6 days and I couldn't be more excited!!! We're going to SO tear up the town. :) And I get to see my client, Joel Harris, at Bank of New York. I'm having lunch with him and some of his coworkers, and then dinner with him, his wife, and MORE coworkers next Friday. I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited. It's going to be the COOLEST weekend EVER!!!
I was just thinking about it today. I was in New York 11 years ago, when I was 17. The excitement of the 4 days I was there was being groped in the subway by some pervert (which wasn't exactly a highlight, but definitely memorable) and when my friend Carey had her ass slapped by Robert Goulet. Now, I get to go there and experience the night life, and see the city through the eyes of a 28 (almost 29) year old. It's going to be so different. I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. And how could I not?! I'm going to be there with one of the coolest chicks ever to let me be their friend. ;) Love you, Alison!!
I'm going to stop now. I'm watching "Deal or No Deal" and it's getting down to the wire. I know. I'm a dork. I was watching "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" earlier. That's the best show ever on TV, but that's a whole other subject. :) Expect more from me, because I miss writing....so I need to get back to it.
