Black out last night

I'm back home for the break now! I got back this afternoon. Yesterday after our finals, we wanted to celebrate. But then we had heavy snow storm that was just messy slushy icy cold, and the Korean resturant was closed. =( We just went out for a regular dinner and then we thought of going to see a movie at a theater. So we drove out in that awful weather only to see that anywhere past our campus was in pitch black!! <.< Traffic lights were also out. Fortunately there were some places with generators, so the roads were not too dark to drive around. Thought to myself, "We are lucky!" So we dropped by Blockbuster, opened an account and got a DVD instead. It was still raining. While we were looking hard for a parking place, our dorm went black! #_# Oh, no! Just our luck!!! Geesh! So we ended up talking in the dark all night waiting wishfully for the lights to come back on. But people still had finals this morning and I felt sorry for them. If it were me, I would be freaking out. The school made it possible for the libraries to have lights though. That was quite nice.

My laptop battery died down so fast, I couldn't even do anything. It's sad to know I can't survive without computer or internet! It was so weird not using the computer. But for some time, I did have fun packing up in the dark. ^^ Quite efficient, don't you think? Cuz my parents were coming early morning, I had to pack then. It wasn't quite difficult though cuz I still had light coming in through my windows. And I know where everything was. ^_^ Anyway, I'm back at home, ready to relax and enjoy the break. And of course, doramas await! ^______~
