Happy 2008~
Happy New Year! Hope everyone's new year started off well. Wish you all a new year filled with happiness and fulfilled dreams/goals.
I had a rather quiet New Year's Eve. We went to a party and had bbq dinner. Spent the night chatting and playing with the lil' ones. Watched the New York countdown and it felt strange. Sorta like do we say happy new year or not? We left early because Aindy was sleepy. We shouted out Happy New Year with champagne cider and then instead of watching fireworks on tv, we ran out onto the streets searching for them. We could hear the sounds of fireworks all around us but couldn't see them. Only stars shining bright up above. Haha that was fun.
This past weekend, the house was busy with KoWai's friends staying over. They are best buddies and there's just something about watching old buddies chatting away merrily. And the other day, we ate lunch out with them in Cupertino Village and it could easily be mistaken for an Asian country. The stores were all Asian and the people were all Asians. I fell in love. XDD I wanted to explore the place but didn't have time. I saw a few bubble tea shops and AjiIchiban store. I want to go back there again.
I finished watching Huan Huan Ai. It had the same cast from "Devil Beside You" and they had good chemistry. Xiao Mei definitely knows how to be the devil. ;p I could seriously see him as Domyoji. I also like the interaction between the two main leads. The only thing that ruined it for me was the last 2 eps when the lead suddenly had a disease and the climax plot was screwed up. :S
