Rienzi Outing

The Houston Area Regency Society had a museum outing on Sunday at the Museum of Fine Arts' Rienzi house collection. Thanks. I like that the piemontaise is not something that hasn't been reproduced a lot so it's a little different but still very accurate.

Thank you. It's a fun dress to sweep around in, and it has a really cool way of billowing out behind when I walk rapidly.

I love it when things have that much flexibility. I'm not sure the organizer really meant us to go with the dates on the silver exhibit, but I didn't want to confine myself to Regency.

It was a good outing. The only downside was that it turns out that while a group at the Rienzi can be up to 10 people, they split you into groups of four or five at the most so we had to split into two groups for the tour. Everything else was great. I do wonder whether they have more of the stairs in the gardens open during other times of the year when the gardens may show better.
