Thanks. It's not a beginner's knitting project, but I've seen some nice embroidered ones as well that might be more achievable. Still, the tiny knitting is cool - the gauge on this is even smaller than a store-bought fine-gauge cardigan; it came in at about 45 stitches per inch.

Yeah, I'm a long way from this kind of knitting project! I'll definitely check out the embroidered style though. Sounds like a great portable project!

This was easily transportable but not so easy to do on the go. I really needed to be sitting still (not in a moving vehicle) and have pretty decent light for at least ten minutes at a stretch.

I hope you do join the ranks of historic knitters. It's a fun way to add little things to your costumes.
