cancer, what??
So uh, my dad told my sister and me today that he might have cancer. He said he had a swollen lymph node that was bothering him and the doctor wanted to biopsy it, then the doctor said it'd be just as easy to surgically remove it, so they did. When they took a biopsy, they found cancerous cells, but not lymphoma, so it's not something that would be spread throughout the body (and therefore untreatable). So now my dad has to go get a shit ton of tests done to try and locate any cancer he may or may not have right now. His wife says that either way, he's going to need to get treatment (just in case). He will tell us what they find out. I'm not worried about it yet because he has no symptoms and it's just too early to tell. He said he'd let us know what the doctors find when they're done with everything.
