Grades are in today. A- in German and I managed an A- in Neuroscience, so I must've done really well on the final because I had a B+ before the final. And I got an A in Intro to Counseling and my Buddhism class. I didn't get straight solid A's but I still technically got all A's this semester, so I'm really happy about that because I haven't been able to maintain all A's for an entire semester since I got to IUPUI.
My dad, Mark, and I are going out to dinner tomorrow at a place called The Ram, then for a drink at a martini bar across the street. Also, I'm finally getting a refund from those fuckers that ripped me off. I checked at the bank today and they said there's a credit transaction that's waiting to go through tonight. Thank you. I'm happy to get that money back.
One of the patients left me a Christmas gift. She was discharged while I was gone last week. It was just a box of candy, but the name tag she made for the box was touching. She made it in a way that resembled some of the questionnaires I have to give to patients. I had to stare at it for a few minutes before I figured it out. Needless to say, I'm keeping the tag.
I've had insomnia for the past week and a half- I fucked up my sleep schedule, and I think maybe tonight I might finally be able to get to bed when I need to. So I only got about 4 or 5 hours of sleep today before going to work. Fun. I spent the entire day doing data entry- my favorite thing... I get to do it again Wednesday. I loathe research.
