the classic sound of shit hitting the fan

Dear hand painted marionettes,

Well, the seasons of exams is upon us, batter down the hatches, say farewell to guilt-free leisure time and accept the tide of comfort eating and sleepless nights rolling towards us like a terrible concrete sea. However, despite the impending storm there are still patches of sunshe; not the least of which was our 6th form assemby. What a triumph, Goldie saw us in nautical outfits dancing to "In the Navy", and, as a bonus, old Sue Whyte was heartily pissed of. Joys. Also, stress makes me lose weight, always cheering, and Goldie is as lovely as ever. At my speech today he worked the whiteboard for me and then properly chatted to me afterwards, he said my speech madehim realise "what was wonderful about Lady Margaret" *tear*. Oh, the exquisite apin of loving him.

On another note, there is also a lot to look forward to after exams: I have a shopping trip with my godmother, an english dinnerand a leavers breakfast, though I can just see how the latter will be filled with crying as much as it is filled with general adoration of the golden one. I hope he stays in touch.  It is weirdto think that school will be over for ever for us in two weeks time, I'm going to miss it so much. After the shit house that was my primary school secondary school felt like heaven, and although I've had my ups and downs this school has accepted me with all my flaws and has been a place of comfort. I have so many friends there, both pupils and teachers, I can't imagine what it'll be like not being there. After all, we are in school most of our young lives, 14 years out of 18, and we are conditioned to know no other way. Weird. Also, I thought I saw Ruari on the train the other day, my heart started thudding like crazy and I felt really odd but then it wasn't. Funny days.

The calm before the storm whispers away..
