Superman Linkspam and daily meme

I don’t know how my sister feels exactly.  Just like me both she and my little brother grew up with the Fleischer cartoons and some of the 90s comics in our home but I don’t think she’s a “fan” so much.  She likes him but kinda the same way you might like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  You can take it or leave it.  My brother is a hand drawn animator so I think he loves Superman in terms of the artwork probably but his preferred style of drawing is manga inspired so he’s not likely to be making a career drawing Kal-El/Clark.  My husband prefers his superheroes flawed and his villains with a crazy but logical bent so he doesn’t really “get” Superman much.  He much prefers Batman to Superman (but only modern interpretation).  His answer when I mentioned what I wrote about his opinions? “The X-Men are way better.”
