Fic updates on the Superman Pairing Challenge
I can’t believe I’m attempting so many different pairings! I’m putting my Lois!Muse through the wringer. It’s a good thing she has her Kal-El!Muse supporting her in the background (you’ll see what I mean in one of the other fics I’ve just written for this challenge although I don’t think it counts because I have already done a Lois/Clark pairing fic).
I’ve just finished a Zod/Ursa fic (kind of a companion to the Jor-El/Lara Lor-Van one) and I love the push-pull of it. How they’re such an uneven pairing in comparison to Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van.
Fic pairings I currently have in progress:
Lois/Zod: This fic’s possibly going to be among the darkest I’ve ever written. I’ve never written dark but I hope it works… I plan on having the Lois/Clark fic that’s currently in progress follow it up immediately to help my Lois!Muse deal with the pain associated with it).
Clark/Lois/Superman: It’s a dreamfic but it’s not on the same range as the two I wrote for the DCU Porn Battle. I don’t know what the rating for this one will end up being but it’s plausibly going to be a smutfic.
Jimmy/Lois: It's actually finished but it has to sit back and wait until I get to that part of the "For the Good of the Earth" series. At the same time my mind wanted to make it ultimately Lois/Clark (I mean... is it Jimmy or just Clark in disguise?) but then I remembered that Jimmy was WAY shorter than Clark so there's no way that would work.
Clark Kent/Eve Tessmacher: Takes place during the STM continuity. Eve has a crush on Superman she acts out with that kiss before she takes the kryptonite off of him
Lois/Clark: (Kal-El’s biology is a little unique which he’s learned to tap into now he doesn’t have his powers… this has allowed Lois and Clark to communicate across the distance and will help to heal wounds left by her mission). I've technically already written my Lois/Clark fic for the challenge but "For the Good of the Earth" really calls for them to continue to reconnect to keep Lois sane. I couldn't see Lois surviving her ordeal in it without it.
I have more planned but these are the ones I’ve got started. I’m forcing myself to finish at least one of these before I start another. I have twenty-one pairings I have currently on my list to attempt (including the ones above).
