Heaven knows I'm miserable now

I'm not really, but I'm liking The Smiths very much at the moment. And a lot of 80s New Wave.
It's all to blame on a really good programme on BBC2 about sex and image in 80s music.

It had a lot about gay clubs etc, but then they came on to The Smiths, and there was this intense photo of Morrisey when they talking about his asexuality...and yeah. (I think it's partly because I've decided that asexuality is the way for me, at least for now.) But I've been trying to find their stuff, and discovered the wonder that is Yahoo Launch- and found a radio station called "The Smiths Fan Station" which plays Smiths, New Order, Joy Division etc. All good stuff. And perfect music to skulk to.

Today I went to Pagan Soc coffee- our usual table was taken by a Christian group! O_O I saw the fish badge and started pointing widly, but they left before they could burn us (although a member of our group suggested we burn them). I had hot chocolate and a panini- Yummmm. (I joined the Tea and Biscuit Soc on the way ^_^) There was much cushion-fighting between myself and Willtom (and poking and tickling on his part)- Giles (yes, Giles) told us to go and stand in the corner at one point. Did we move? No. We just pointed and whined "They started it" frequently. Someone also suggested that we take part in the nude calender that the DSU is doing i.e. Skyclad. Resounding answer was no (accompianed by cushions, and Willtom saying that he hadn't known Si "long enough to get my knob out in front of him". See, I've missed these kinds of conversations not being around boys).
More Pagan Soc events planned for the future!

I got my train tickets for the 25th today! I'm going home! 1st class, baby! And then I'm seeing a countertenor (not my favourite one, but still) and the Ukelele orchestra of Great Britain while I'm in London.

I got my Advent Calender today from my aunt and uncle today, as per tradition. YAY! That means Christmas is on it's way! ^_^ (Says the pagan...)

Anyway, tonight I'm watching Rome, then going to I Can't Believe It's Not Cheese at the DSU- FUN!

(P.S. Go and check out the lyrics to 'Handsome Devil' by The Smiths ;-) )
