I just watched The Doctor Dances and Boom Town.
After The Empty Child I didn't like Jack (third wheel, third wheel! Does that phrase even work in English?). Someone who had seen the entire first season kind of hinted at further developments that might make me change my mind, but man, I didn't expect this. The Doctor Dances rocked (well duh), and Boom Town is now officially my favourite episode so far. I loved the snappy dialogue and the randomly inserted explanation about the police box. And Rose's skirt, although how she managed to run in it is beyond me.
