Ha! I deleted my myspace yesterday to get rid of the obsessive bastards who stalk me online, and what do they do when they see I got rid of my myspace? They send me an invitation to come make ANOTHER myspace! What the hell?! Do they check up on me THAT often? Why do they even want me to come back when they were just writing nasty things about me the other day WHEN I WAS LINKED TO THEIR JOURNAL AND COULD READ WHAT THEY WROTE. Idiots.
Heir is for sale. Sally is trying to help me sell him. We've talked, and it's time to step up to a gaited horse who can be competitive for me. The only way I can do that is to sell one. The only one worth anything is Heir. He's the only one that's either completely broke or not lame, so he's the one who has to be sold. I can't afford said gaited horse without the money from his sale. Sally is trying to get him sold for $10-12k. My, it makes a big difference riding for a big barn. You can get much better sales prices there than by yourself. Early next month, I'm going to try out a couple of gaited horses at a barn in New York. Hopefully one will work out. Both have been pretty competitive. All that's wrong with them is that they've been out of training (turned out) for a few months. It'd just be a winter's work, and a new set of show shoes to get them ready to go back to the shows. Their loss, my gain.
I got my moms christmas presents today. She's getting a Canon PowerShot A570, and a Sudoku game for Nintendo DS.
I think after the holiday season I'm going to stop teaching lessons. May even move barns. I'm tired of all of the bullshit. I teach *FOUR LESSONS* now. With the one instructor in charge, she's drug the barn down, and nobody wants to ride there, so people no longer call for lessons. It's a complete waste of my time. I teach that many lessons over three fucking days, and feed for free. Waste waste waste. 'Because of the drought' they're also not feeding my horses enough in the mornings/on the days I'm not there, and Heir and Devon have been dropping weight, enough so that the pony's harness no longer fits, and Heir has dropped a full size in his girth. I've got emails out to a few barns in hopes of finding a better one. Won't be much longer though.. Come fall, we move to Versailles.
Hopefully for one of my lessons out at the barn (no, not the crap barn I board at) I'll get to ride Cats Don't Dance again. I haven't ridden him in a couple of weeks now... I miss him. He's such a fantastic horse to ride.
In other news.. Kairi is getting huge. She has no waist anymore. I'm so excited!!! Got to get the puppy kit together soon. I kept having to remind myself I didn't need to buy one of Jen's puppies since we'd be having our own so soon. Maybe I'll take Kai in to the vet on Friday before my lesson to see if they can do a sonogram to get an idea of how many pups to expect :D
