my house has been very chaotic lately. duke wait listed me, which isnt too terrible considering 19,000 people applied and the engineering department is the hardest one to get into. my parents are very set on no loans whatsoever. i understand where they are coming from...but it limits my college choices down to one. surprise! i dont know what to do. i dont want to be in debt for an undergrad, but at the same time it would be nice to go to those schools. james joyce is my hero bc he writes portrait of the artist as a young man like i do my private journals...all emotion and not much plot.
