frustrations
Car can be fixed, just have to get a new belt and get hubby to work on it with me since I can't begin to do it on my own. We determined it's the water pump. Here is what happened from another post I made:
We decided it was probably the water pump after talking to my brother. So we
managed to gimp it 2 miles to the nearest parts store, got the water pump, on
the way home we pulled over to add more coolant and it just ran right though.
Before it was a slow drip, then it was like a sive (sp?). So he started
pushing, we took turns pushing it about 4-5 blocks (we were about half a mile
from home but there is a large park that runs through the neighboorhood so the
only way to get from where we were to where we needed to go was either back on
the busy street or 10 blocks out of our way. Well we got it started just before
we had to make that decision and I managed to get it the last 6 blocks home. Of
course that killed the belt so now we have to find a way to get a belt and fix
it today. woo hoo

On top of that I need to get Katya a winter jacket by tonight and I'm still freaking out trying to figure out how I"m going to fund halloween costumes since this next paycheck is going to be overwhelmed with bill payments. Still trying to figure out how to make all that happen. Adding costumes to the budget is proving difficult but I don't want to take the holiday away from the kids. I won't let this effect them like that.
So I have to find a bat costume for Alek and a witches costume for Katya and Connor hasn't decided what he wants to be yet. Normally I would make these but this time I just don't have the time even if I did have the funds.
