busy busy bee
Well this weekend we got the fence it, despite a few issues with coming up 4 feet short on chain link and having to get a 50ft roll just to make up that section. (had to take 6feet off total) Luckily it's on the landlords dollar. Unfortunately first I had to call his maintence guy who is a total jerk and asked him if they had 6ft of 4ft high chain link. He sent me to one of the properties and it was 3ft chainlink, um, doesn't help me.
But it's done and the dogs are frolicking happily back there. I started on the tiling. I'm doing it in sections because we have three parts to the kitchen, the main part, the little outcroping where the fridge is and the "nook" (a smaller room off the kitchen where the kids table is). I'm doing the main room tonight (can't finish it until after dinner though because the stove is being used and it has to be moved to do it). Tomorrow I will tile the kids nook and grout the main room and tues. I will tile the fridge nook and grout the kids room and wed I will grout the fridge nook. That should have it all done and good then. Woo woo. I can't wait until it's done but it just reminds me (the nice new tiles) how nasty the cabinets are. -blah-
