Spring BReak
So far this Spring BReak I have........
Seen The Sisters of Mercy-good but the sound was strange. Mr. Andrew looked and sounded delish-that is what held my attention the most. Except for the dude in the red muscle shirt and backwards cap yelling and pumping his fist in the air as if he was at a Winger concert-that was might entertaining.
Coldplay on Sunday in Tampa. AMAZING as usual. Fiona Apple opened and I have to say I loved her. No one else really cared to see her but I think she freaking rocks, so I was right up front and able to see EVERYTHING. She sounded great. We stayed right up front on the floor for Coldplay(great tix thanks to ebay and lots o cash). I can't really find words to describe how good it was. One of those concerts I will always remember.
Today Stephen and I drove out to Daytona to watch the Superbike and Formula Extreme practice and qualifying. We got to go down into the pit area and meet a ton of riders. I took a pic of Stephen with Mat Mladdin and Aaron Yates-he was in heaven. HE was so excited!!! I got to meet Miguel Duhamel and his girlfriend Lanea-(can you tell I watch way too much racing). They invited us back to the Honda racing truck to take pix-way cool. We are going out to the race on Saturday with the whole family.
Morgan had to have his back x-rayed today-he hurt it really badly at school when he slipped and did a backflip off of the monkey bars. Perhaps just a pulled muscle, but need to make sure since he is in so much pain.
It will be nice to hang as a family this weekend but I have so much homework to do over the next few days. I really need to get out and have a drink. Maybe Peacock on Thursday night.
