Grades Ahoy
Just checked my grades for this semester, and the last one got put in last night. So here they are:
English 102: A
Popular Culture in America: A
Sociology Of Crime: A
Japanese 101: B
About what I was expecting. I actually did better overall in the Japanese class than the grade reflects, it was just that when I took the final (which was roughly 25% of the total grade) I was so sick and sleep deprived that I could barely think in English, much less Japanese. I knew when I took it that I probably bombed it, but I knew I'd done well enough that the final grade wouldn't be too bad. And hey, it's still better than I did in Russian in high school, and my college GPA overall is 3.55, which is above the threshold needed for certain grants and the like, and the GPA for this semester was 3.75, so that Japanese grade didn't pull it down that much.
