Well I feel like a dope
There are two guys I work with who have the same, fairly common Hispanic last name. The older one is Gabe while the younger one is Richard, and people sometimes call Richard "little Gabe". Well, seems I was the only person who didn't know they're actually brothers until today. I thought the "little Gabe" name was just because they have the same last name, but no, they're actually brothers! And they do look a lot alike.
When someone laughed at me for that I pointed out that I don't assume everyone with my fairly common Irish last name is related to me, but I still was the last one to catch on.
