More Left 4 Dead 2 adventures
So I mentioned the time I played Left 4 Dead 2 and doomed us all by stopping to help a down buddy, and the same situation happened again in a recent game with some friends. Basically, the escape vehicle that ends the level and allows you to survive was right there, I had very little health left (to the point that my screen was going black and white, which is what happens when you're about to die), as did everyone else, and we got ambushed by a swarm of zombies just as we were about to get on.
My reaction was to jump on the escape vehicle while everyone else was getting mobbed and yell "I'm sorry guys! I'll avenge you!" I was the only survivor, but we all laughed about it because we probably would've lost the entire level -- again -- if I'd gone back for them.
