So my uncle Gary and his girlfriend came up last night. My mom and I saw them briefly while shopping before they picked up a few things and settled in at the Best Western. They came over this morning, but I only saw them a little before I had to go to evil work. So I was pretty depressed at work, and mopey and unworky. So when I was going to go to lunch, I found a manager and asked if I could leave, since there was coverage in my department. Aaron said sure. So I called my mom, except my phone died. So I borrowed Karleigh's. I had to call my brother first (since I could figure out his number from my own) to get my mom's. Then I called her, but they had a little problem: they were out on the canal and the boat died (really? what else is new?). So I had to wait until they could get rescued, but eventually they came to get me. We went to East End Steakhouse and had some good food. It was nice. Worth the wait. So I guess they're gonna hang out here for a bit. At least I got to spend some time with somebody.
