who did it first?
AHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT TILL SPRING BREAK!!!
i have this great image of the picture i'm going to take of all of us on the beach, wind in our hair, squinting in the sun....the picture that i'm going to frame and is going to be the quintessential picture of my college experience, all my closest friends together on spring break, having a great time on a beautiful beach. i can imagine this picture sitting on the coffee table of my future home for years to come. it's a great feeling. i hope everything goes swimmingly. we have the condo for 3 nights/4 days, i'm going with 9 of my best friends in the world, and for once all of us are going somewhere together for spring break. we're gonna make margueritas, play games, and listen to ross/jordan jam sessions on the beach. sigh...it sounds wonderful. i'm just so excited, all i want to do is plan the trip, buy flip flops, and go!
unfortuntely i have a bunch of research to do for my thesis outline/bibliography which is due right before break. and my mom's b-day is on friday so i may be going to eat at the blue willow inn (best southern food ever in an old civil-war era hotel in social circle, ga) that's a good thing though. i'm glad that my midterms are over and i don't have all that much to do before break. i can't believe my mom will be 52. that's just crazy, am i really that old? that means i'll be 22 this year, and i'll be a college graduate and...wow my real life is going to start. i had a study date with a guy yesterday who reminded me what i really want in a guy. intelligence, ambition, humor, an appreciation of the things that i love...such as history and ancient languages. it was very refreshing to meet someone who is actually interested in the things that i'm interested in. i have come to the conclusion that i will meet someone when i stop looking, when i least expect to. and right now i'm having a great time with my friends and i'm honestly happy with where i am. its refreshing after the craziness of the past couple months.
i'm off to make lists for the beach trip. i heart lists!
