MY FIRST DCM :)
teeheehee. :) i admit, i'm terrible. i was late to my OWN DCM!!! the dcm was supposed to start at 4:30, and i was planning to be there at 4;15. i had an Invention of Morel book discussion after school till 3:55, and then i left and went to get napkins/toilet paper/pizza.(note to self: make someone else do it next time). but what really pissed me off was i had to fill out about 20 forms so i could use ms. tierney's classroom, AND THE DOORS TO THE HALL WERE ALL LOCKED AND STUFF. WTFFF. i filled out those insane forms so i could have ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES and so the school could be prepared and stuff. wahtever. eventually everyone somehow got into the 700 hall and met up in ms. tierney's room.
haha. jaime took some pictures and there's one of me looking absolutely terrified. =P THANK YOU JAIME, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE DIVISIONAL SECRETARY EVERRRR!!
i guess you could say it went well, i really dont know since i have no other DCMs to compare it to. :) but for a good 45 minutes of talking, we got through a lot i think :)

JUNIOR PROM
ahh where do i begin? :) in the morning from 9am-10am i got the biggest lecture/guilt trip of my life from my mom with information i cannot disclose. :( not sure if i'll be going to college though anymore. like a 4-year. i might have to go to a community college first. that would kill me. my future is totally up in the air and i have no control. my plans to go to a 4-year university are shattered. good job mom, way to ruin the morning of my prom. :(
anyways. i did lots of various things, running back and forth all over cv. very rushed. charis/tiffany chan (who didnt go to prom, but just wanted to come to my house for fun) were gunna come over so i could do charis's hair at like 12. wellll charis was at a track meet and then got a lecture from her mom (those chinese mothers, i tell you) for an hour too, and then at 3:30 she was ready to come to my house so i could do her hair. mike was supposed to come at 4:30pm and pick me up, and at 4:15 charis called mike telling him to not come until 4:45 cause i was doingh is hair. i dunno what happened, but somehow mike didnt follow the directions and came to my house at 4:30 anyways, with andrea (NOTE: andrea phillips will be called "ANDREA" for today, and andrea blunt will be called "BLUNT") so while my mom/dad were interrogating mike/kevin/andrea about stuff in my living room, i was rushing like a mofo to finish charis's hair, help her get dressed, and then get myself dressed too! i even forgot my cell phone! errg!
we then drove to christina rae's house where the wholeee group would be meeting (like 20 people?) and we were early ANYWAYS. SO PSH I COULD HAVE TAKEN MY SWEET TIME. but oh well :) we did the whole bout/corsage thing, and i think blunt took 10 pictures of each. haha. i love you, blunt. we went outside, took some gorgeous pictures on the grass, and all the girls' heels were sinking into the grass like golf tees cause the ground was all soft :) twas fun! everyone was gorgeous, as expected.
and of course, we rushed to get to the livermore shrine event center ONLY TO WAIT LIKE 30 MINS. hahah. (note for next year: take your sweeeet time.) so we sat outside and waited and my allergies were going crazy like a mofo. holy crap i could not stop sniffing/itching. =\. but waiting there gave me time to admire everyone's gorrrrrgeouss self. :) the dinner was good, i thought. not as good as last year's, even though it was the same catering company, but still good. MAN I LOVED THAT PASTA OMFG. AND STRAWBERRIES ARE MY FAVORITE. *dies*. i love the following couples: simon + jaime, erin gaab + ben topkins, ginger + matt mitchell, lori + matt. love them. they all win my CUTEST COUPLES OF JR PROM award.
but yeah. i felt bad for charis a lot :( all the couples in their group were all freaking and stuff and her date was being a little too touchy :( so for a few parts of the night i was dancing with charis trying to loosen her up and dance, but her date always followed and she would get uncomfortable. :( i'm sorry, my charisman! i tried though. and her hair kept falling out so i kept going into the bathroom and trying to fix it. I BLAME ANDREA RUSHING ME.
okay so mike is pretty good at standing, so i told simon wu, the master of dancing, to teach mike how to dance, and then SIMON, DARWIN, AND JOSH SHINODA ALL START BUTT BUMPING MIKE. HAHAHAA. MY DATE WAS MOLESTED HECKA. various other times he was thrown into a freaking taco of sabina and soolin. :) hahaha. ahh, mike. everyone's butts just loves you.
memorable moments: simon's moonwalk, OMFG I LOVE YOU SIMON. mike + blunt singing "summer lovin." ;) BLUNT'S LITERAL DANCING. HAHAHAHA. okay so like blunt started "literal dancing" which is where you do movements that associate with the lyrics. all i remember is "pour some sugar on me" and "touching youuuuuuuu, touching meeeeeeeeeeee" and "this love has taken it's toll on me, she said goodbye too many times before, my heart is breaking in front of me..." also andrea got all disgusted with all the freaking and said that they were all "sexually frustrated" and in mocking them, SHE STARTS HUMPING MY LEG, and me in general. HAHAHAHA. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT. i guess i'm really loved? :)
after the dance we all went back to christina rae's house and hung out. i dont really remember anything cause i fell asleep on the couch. all i remember is that when i woke up, someone took out a bottle and said "AH, HERE IS THE SPIN-THE-BOTTLE BOTTLE!" good thing it was time to leave. i got home at like 2-3? i really dont remember. :) thank you mike for a great evening!
and now. TOMORROW IS AP ENGLISH LITERATURE ENTRANCE EXAM. *whines* yay for invention of morel.
