We broke 40,000 words!

And we hope to get them repaired soon. ;-) I'm not sure how long "Splintered" will turn out, but I've adjusted the wordmeter in our profile to reflect a goal of 50,000 words. If I recall correctly, that's the minimum length for a novel. I have never written anything that long before, and I'm not sure even P's unfinished novel ever made it that far.

Nothing encouraging to report on the baby front, I'm afraid. Rosa has disappeared again. We've been obsessively miring ourselves in the DC universe to try to distract ourselves.
