At first Helena had carried one of the pictures on her at all times, afraid that they would be gone once she returned to her room. After about two weeks she realized that they were hers to keep and she no longer carried the frame with her. Vanessa had smiled and nodded at her when she showed up without the picture of Myka. I've tried to keep up the posting of this story, now that I've started to work on it again. I've had to take a short break due to holidays and RL stuff (two major case studies, 20+ pages, due next week) but after that I should get back to it again. Hopefully... Chapter 7 is being proofed right now and I'm half way done with chapter 8. Oh, did I mention that chapter 8 has sexytimes? No? Well, it does ;)

Speaking of which- You may have, incidentally, just chipped through my writer's block for that one paper-thin-excuse-for-smut fic I've been putting off until my beast-of-an IDF fic is over...
NO MORE! I will now go and write my very own fluffy squigglyweehappytimes. *points at you!* You, good lady person, are awesome, for being the cure to my limestone-cube-shaped migranes! Ahoy, ye dribbling word documents! Feel my wrath, ye landlubbering executive program's slathering, shackled wardogs, fed on the pain and suffering of those poor lassies before mine time, blocked from their own creative visions, as it were!
On that note, I'll leave now. Before my caffeine high wears off.

I'm glad if you got inspired to write. Go for it!
I'm working on my IDF stories as well. I committed to four stories. Two are done, third one 90% done and the last one will happen next weekend. Too busy to start another story right now.
