HG Wells Script
Okay, so I did it. I've started writing an episode script for the new Warehouse 13 spin-off about HG Wells. Even if no one else ever sees it, I'm having a great time with it! I have several ideas and they are just pouring onto my screen. Oh, have I said how much I love, LOVE Final Draft? It's awesome. I'm still learning my way around it, but it is not that hard.
So, if I keep asking the universe to make this happen, I will be able to pitch this to the W13 people. Heck, if I could have Jane Espenson read it once I'm done, I would be eternally grateful. She is, in my opinion, one of the most amazing screenwriters within Scifi and Fantasy. Her advice and thoughts would be very welcome. She is after all the brilliant mind who created Warehouse 13.
Well, one step at the time I guess. First I need to get it done, then revise it, and re-write and so on. It will be a little while.
I'm very excited about the possibility of an HG Wells show set in the Warehouse 12 era. I think it could be SyFy's way of taking on Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes. And the possibilities for crossovers are just delicious :)
