Tonight was my last class. That leaves one paper to write, bunch to grade, and finals to proctor and grade. After that I will be a quarter of the way done with grade school. That fact is simultaneously relieving and terrifying. There's so much left to do, and time runs away so quickly. I got my major paper back from my no good, very bad, awful required graduate seminar. I got an A. which is nice, but I'm pretty sure grading was completely arbitrary, and dependent on his mood at the time. Every book review I got a B or an A- and frequently told how I "missed the boat." (I'm still not quite sure which boat). One of the bits praise I received on my final paper was that I string words together pretty well. I don't mean to complain, but if I had known the system was so unsystematic I wouldn't have spent several nights making myself sick over this course. Either way its done.
I only have two purchases left, then I am done Christmas shopping. I scaled down to family and Stuart this year because that's all that I could afford, and I really won't be able see other folk over the holiday.
I'll be spending my winter break reading books on the list for the comprehensive exams I'll have to take. I'm uber excited. ^_^
