Tenipuri trivia
*dances* Yay~~! At last, I've obtained full version to Sowelu's "Finally," the OP theme to Angel Heart. I love this song so much. ♥
Decided to share some very random tenipuri trivia.. Forgive me, it's midnight and I'm bored, lol.
Alternate ending?
In an insert to one of the manga volumes (see image) Konomi spoke his thoughts on the Atobe vs. Tezuka match. I won't translate word for word, but the gist of it goes thus - he wanted this to be a high point of the series, for obvious reasons. He went so far as to say that he wrote this with the thought that if he wasn't able to write any more manga - ever - after completing the scene, it would still leave him satisfied. When he first wrote the scene, the results were already drawn out in his mind. But the characters kept refusing to give up, and so the match kept getting longer and longer.. At the time of this particular interview, he had two endings mapped out, and was in the midst of deciding which one to use. He noted that the theme to this match is "sadness."
Do you remember a character named Shiratama?
...well neither did Konomi. The voice actor for Shiratama approached him at a party and introduced himself and noted which character he played, and the author drew a blank.
...speaking of voice actors...
Konomi himself played a character in one of the episodes. (The waiter in the restaurant where Akutsu pours his beverage over Taka-san).
Who would the voice actors play if they could?

- Morikubo Shoutarou (Kirihara): .... (hasn't thought about anyone else, as he hasn't had much appearances yet as Kirihara)
- Toriumi Kousuke (Sengoku): Oshitari Yuushi. (Wants to try Kansai ben, because he can't speak it!)
- Sasaki Nozomu (Akutsu): Akutsu Jin. (He's only gonna be Akutsu, for life)
- Kiuchi Hidenobu (Oshitari): Ibu. (Because Moriyama [Ibu's VA] is his rival, lol)
- Hoshi Sohichiroh (Mukahi): Yanagisawa. (So scary's he's gotta try it. But he's afraid he won't be as funny)
- Kusuda Toshiyuki (Shishido): Shishido Ryou. (The more he plays him, the more in depth the character becomes...his interest never peaks)
- Tsuruoka Satoshi (Kabaji): Atobe Keigo. (Wants to say "Na, Kabaji?")
- Suwawbe Junichi (Atobe): Sakaki Tarou. (Was struck by his presence. Thinks he wants to be a guy like him..?)
