I read an article that said making lists of things is therapeutic and can help people deal with stress, because it helps you identify both problems and highlights in life. So I started scribbling lists in Spanish class today, and this is what I wrote:
Reasons why life sucks
1. I didn’t get into UF.
2. The semester is only one third over.
3. It is impossible to get my room completely clean.
4. I cannot remember my Spanish verbs.
5. I have an online professor who will not answer my questions.
6. I have to wait until November to see Dashboard Confessional.
Reasons why life does not suck
1. I’ll probably get more financial aid at USF.
2. The semester is a third over, which is much better than just a fourth.
3. I can find my floor.
4. I have until a week from Tuesday to remember my Spanish verbs.
5. The weather is effing amazing.
6. I get to go see Dashboard Confessional in concert in November.
I found that in no way beneficial. If anything, I feel worse because yes, my life is that boring
In other news, Clay Aiken has told the world that he is gay. This makes me ask a very important question…
Did he really come out of the closet if his closet was made of glass?
(this is what I do while I'm at work)
