Writer's Block: What happened to you today?

Funny you should ask...

First, I got out of bed when I really didn't want to. Then, I went to school where I sat in on a review for a final I'm not prepared for. Then I went to a class and listened to another depressing history lecture. I followed this with going to statistics, which by universal law, always makes me want to commit suicide.  I may have gotten an A on the test from yesterday, but it's like winning a battle when you know you've already lost the war. You get that one second of feeling victorious, and then you remember 'oh yeah. I'm dead anyway." Then I went and saw Sarah. That wasn't too bad. I met one of my classmates for a study session. Just as I'm walking back out to my car, being all emo (as I have been for a while now), and thinking "It's okay. Nothing is as bad as it seems today", I talk to my mother and she tells me that someone who was once my best friend is, apparently, sitting on my couch waiting for me to come home. Oh, and he brought his new girlfriend. It was an interesting hour. So now I'm sitting here thinking about all the ways everything  in my life could be different if I would have just said something different or done something else at any one moment.
