Classes were cancelled once again today, as the roads needed to be plowed. We had 13 inches of snow, and everyone's cars were buried.
I feel like I used my time very well today. I slept until 9, took a shower, had breakfast, went to Strawberry Fields and bought eggs, rice, and powdered sugar. Then I baked some lemon squares, had lunch with Jennifer, and did my laundry. The laundry room door was snowed shut, so I had to scoop snow away from it to get it to open.
Then Jennifer and I went to Beckman, I with the purpose of changing the weights on my experiment, and she with the purpose of bothering Kirby. Kirby is her very nice 34 year old gentleman friend who goes to her church. Everyone thinks that they have some sort of interest in each other, but they both swear that they are just "really good friends." We challenged him to a snowball fight, and he accepted. We went outside of Beckman and threw snow at each other for about 30 minutes, and recieved many strange looks from passerbyers. It was so much fun.
Then I stopped by Mark's apartment to give him the cookies and lemon squares that I had baked. He gave me some grapefruit. We chatted for a few minutes about the snow and how his car was completely buried, and he promised to take me out to dinner next week (and give me a real Valentines day present that is not grapefruit), when he can actually get his car out.
Overall, this has been quite a nice day. I am looking forward to small group tonight, when we will be going sledding by the Japan house.
