Tattoo
I'm musing about a new tattoo. Unlike
alasdair who has been hit by prophetic visions of the precise way in which he should be branded, my subconscious has been silent on the matter beyond ocassionally going "another tattoo - what a good idea"
In the pub last night, we were discussing things
weaselator might have missed, including the death of Humph (he really was in the back of beyond) and the excellent Avenue Q. We got to chatting about the closing song "It's Only For Now" which struck us, in our over-intellectual way, as basically being a pop version of that most comforting and humbling phrase This, Too, Shall Pass. It's commonly inscribed as the Hebrew letters GZY and I think would look rather lovely as well as being a handy reference guide to life. I also like the idea of that phrase being written in indelible format on something that will eventually get old and rubbish (me).
