Life is what happens while you wake
This past weekend was, in single word, amazing.
Friday afternoon consisted of a wonderful lunch at the yummy mexican restaurant in town, two hours of 007 with Morgan, and then a van ride down to South Carolina with some crazy girls.
Saturday was scary and wonderful. On our way to the race we got lost in the boodocks of South Carolina. While we were driving my nervousness increased drastically only to be calmed down by Rage Against the Machine and a voice that I trust telling me to breath and that I will do amazingly. Meanwhile we received a call from our coach saying that if the 4 boat didn't show up in the next 5 min. we couldn't race... well we had to abduct another person on the team to row with us but we made it. All of our boats made it to finals. My boat placed 5th overall (out of 15) and our 8 boat took 2nd :) I was so proud. Afterward, we rushed back Tech... only to get in at 2 a.m. I then accordingly relocated myself to the apartment and helped celebrate birthdays.
Sunday consisted of Olive Garden and more talking continued from the night before.
It was an amazing weekend that I only wish I could live over :)
