someday, I too hope to be referred to in a local newspaper as "lithe"

Just wanted to apologize if I've been strangely "wordy" to anyone in comments lately. I'm on painkillers because of recovery from surgery, and also because I deal off-and-on with fibromyalgia. Normally I can go most days without them but it's been rough lately, and they are really a godsend to get me through the day. Anyway, I can work and drive with them fine, but they do make me slightly loopy when it comes to verbal expression and social contact - weird eh? Sometimes I notice that when I "sober up" (a.k.a. wake up in the morning, the medicine having left my system), I am slightly weirded out by how verbose and circuitous I've been - including on LJ.

As recompense, I bring you these lulz:

(Seriously, if you were Bret and someone gave you this to sign, would you not look at them and be like "Really? I mean... really?")

and an article which contains this great quote:
It extols a glimpse of his (BRET MCKENZIE'S) back, noting "the lithe and graceful way he sits down compared to the much less elegant elf next to him".

It would be extra hilarious if the elf they are referring to here is his brother. I may just have to watch it, because I am that big of a loser. Does anyone else think Bret's brother looks really scary during the Council of Elrond? I mean, I would not want to run into that particular McKenzie/elf in a dark alley. If Rivendell had dark alleys, that is... PS DID I MENTION I AM A HUGE DORK?
