It took me a while for it to register that this was a documentary, and not a fictional movie where the kids are rescued at the end. I got to the fourth part and had to stop. I couldn't take anymore nonsense.
The kid in the fourth part, however, was on the right track. Maybe he can get out...
But...you missed praying to the giant carbord bush and all sort of the other things. Watch the rest when you finish screaming and pulling out your hair like I did.
OK, I've only wathed the first two parts but here are my favorite bits so far:
The "lightning bold" face painting that matches the Nazi lightning bolt motif.
The statement that children are usable" to Christianity.
The statement "We have the truth!" Yeah because even accepting god and crationism, it makes total sense that god would have revealed THE TRUTH only 2,000 yeads ago, to only one small cult.
"Creationism is the only possible answer to all the questions." Yes, if you procede from the basic assumption that evolution is wrong, as are all the laws of physics.
I'm scared. And I haven't even got to the Jesus Camp part.
Hehe, I saw it in theaters - it's kinda freaky because I look JUST like that little girl Rachael (my cheeks aren't so chubby) and my name is Rachael to, she looks exactly as I did when I was a kid (though I don't have the bangs now). It is like looking at a spooky alternate reality.
I'm afraid to watch it. My blood pressure is high as it is--perhaps I should tell my doc I need a short-term up on my meds.
Me: Doc, I know this is a weird request, but see, I'm going to see "Jesus Camp" and-- Doc: Gotcha. *tosses me samples of Compazine* Me: Actually, I was thinking of my BP meds. Doc: Yeah, I just have to get samples from next door, hold on.
