A/N : I finally wrote a fic for my bb Daiki XD. I always wanted to write DaikixTsukasa from a long long time ago but never managed to write it. Sorry Tsukasa, you didn’t treasure Daiki like he did to you so I wrote him with Reiji instead. LOL. Kind of Reiji’s POV, I think~ UNBETAED as always /runs.

Kurosaki Reiji didn’t trust people. People lies, naive. He had tried so many times, to trust other people, but only to find that people is more untrustworthy than he thought. That affected to his love life, too. Girls didn’t interest Reiji, because girls were the last thing in the world he would trust. They lied even without word by putting make up, some put too much, to hide their flaws. Reiji sometimes thought that he could be gay, but he never found the boys interesting too.
But when Kaito Daiki, a thief whom he hated since he was a kid and also a person who stole time showed him what his treasure was, Reiji thought he found someone that interests him a bit, only a bit. The fact that Kaito is a boy was completely different from his thought about being a gay. That was just a coincidence.
Everything about Kaito that happened in the last few days kept running on Reiji’s head, his face, his hair, his smart mouth, his gestures, his words, everything. He hated that guy, certainly, that was why he wondered very much, why he couldn’t get Kaito out of his head. Reiji heard from Nogami Ryoutarou the reason why Kaito stole time probably to save Reiji mother’s letter from eternally lost and to save Kaito’s treasure as well, which Ryoutarou assumed wasn’t Reiji’s family gun. Reiji ended up wondered about lots of things.

“I wonder if I... can someday trust people too.” Reiji started, looking at the blue rider. Kaito had just saved him from a combination of Den-O’s full charge and Diend’s Attack Ride that went uncontrollably because of Eve’s perfect weapon.
“I dunno.” Kaito replied, standing up. “If you believe in your treasure, then I’m sure you will someday.” He continued, smirking. Kaito soon realized that Reiji couldn’t see his smirk so he just did something useless.
Reiji went silent, staring at the asphalt under him. “What if...” He started. “What if I had believed my treasure?”
“Very well then, I think you can trust someone now.” Kaito answered while transforming himself back to Kaito Daiki form.
Reiji lifted his face, examining Kaito’s face. Kaito stared him back with a slight questioning face. “Is it possible to have more than one treasure?” Reiji asked.
Kaito frowned and then laughed. “Hahaha, do you think I spent all my life just to steal your family’s gun?”. Reiji grimaced, he remembered Kaito had stolen his family’s gun, twice, even though that wasn’t a problem again, somehow.
“Then, I have two treasures now, and I believe those treasures.” Reiji said softly, darting his eyes away from Kaito’s.
“Oh, what’s the other one?” Kaito knew Reiji’s treasure was his mother’s letters, but he had no idea what was the other one.
Reiji cleared his throat, sweating more than he had already. “It’s you.” Reiji finally said sheepishly, now completely looking away from Kaito. Kaito thought he was dreaming, or he started to be deaf. “Excuse me?”
Reiji’s face looked very horrible because he was blushing and at the same time pretending to keep cool. “I-It’s you, my treasure is...” He couldn’t be deaf doesn’t he! Reiji thought.
Kaito wanted to laugh at what Reiji said, but he knew that wasn’t polite because he could tell Reiji had thrown all of his pride to say something like that, to him, mostly. “Are you losing your mind?” was Kaito ended up saying.
“I’m not.” Reiji replied, fast. It had gotten too embarrassing already, Reiji thought he shouldn’t bragged the topic too long. “I think... maybe I like you... I don’t know.”
Kaito loved the feeling of stealing treasures, he loved how his adrenaline rushed up in his blood, the feeling of being caught at any time. Most of it he loved the feeling of possessing something that almost priceless, something that no one in the world had but him. This time his adrenaline rushed in his blood again, or his blood rushed to his head, Kaito didn’t know. All he knew that he could hear his heart was thumping like crazy. He never felt something like that anymore, not after Tsukasa dumped him.
“Stop it already, Time Police-san, I won’t fall into a cheesy trap like that.” That wasn’t Kaito wanted to say, he made a mental note to slap himself later. “I’m going, there are a lot of treasures awaiting me.” Kaito making his ‘shooting’ pose and smiling, he thought that he better left.
What did I say?! How could I consider him as my treasure?! Reiji screamed in his mind. But when Kaito stepped his way to leave, Reiji grabbed Kaito’s wrist. “Wait!” He practically shouted, surprising already surprised Kaito.
Reiji threw Kaito’s hand when he realized that Kaito was staring at his hand on his wrist. “S-Sorry!” Reiji apologized quickly, blushing at his stupidity. Kaito couldn’t see the cool, strict and perfectionist Time Police on Reiji anymore. If only his senses had gone with Tsukasa that time, he would say that Reiji looked completely like a girl now. Well, his pretty though, Kaito thought.
“Were you serious with what you said earlier, about me being your treasure?” Kaito broke the silent. Reiji thought he should’ve just let Kaito left, but he nodded in answer. “I thought you hate me? But well, I’m happy to hear that.” Kaito smiled, didn’t give Reiji chance to answer his question.
“J-just forget it! That wasn’t important...” Reiji blurted out what he actually didn’t want to say but couldn’t help to not feel happy inside.
“Treasure must never be lost.” Kaito said, face serious. Reiji had heard that words once. “That’s why I would never forget it, even though you asked me to.”
“But just...” Reiji stopped in the middle, realizing what Kaito meant. Did Kaito just say my confession is his treasure? Reiji reassured himself. “You...” He could feel his cheeks got warmer.
“I never thought that the kid who tried to stop me from stealing his family’s heirloom would consider me as his treasure.” Kaito teased Reiji.
“That’s why just forget it already!” Reiji blushed hard. I had ruined my own life, I hate you Kaito Daiki, he thought.
“I decide what I want to forget.” Kaito’s voice changed immediately from teasing to stern voice, taking Reiji aback. “And I decide what I want to do, too.” By that, Kaito kissed Reiji’s lips with something that crossed from chaste kiss to deeper one.
Reiji’s eyes got even bigger than it already had, and when he felt Kaito was going to pull out, he deepened the kiss for a reason he couldn’t even tell. This time Kaito was the one with bigger eyes. Kaito had only kissed Tsukasa Kadoya, his lover, or he thought was his lover, and never kissed someone else. But the way Reiji kissed, abrupt and persistent, driving Kaito to the edge. He pulled out with ragged breath.
“Wow.” Kaito said, whistling. Reiji’s face was almost purple, sweating all over his face. “Was that your first kiss?” Kaito chuckled, got no answer from Reiji.
“What was that for?” Reiji finally asked, there was a glimpse of the usual Reiji on his voice, despite his almost miserable look now.
“I said I decide what I want to do,” Kaito exclaimed, trying hard not to let Reiji knew that his heart was beating like crazy.
“You cur!” Reiji shot. That was my first kiss! Don’t take it easy like that! This is why I don’t trust people! He angered himself.
Kaito ignored what Reiji said, lot of people had cursed him many times though. “I decide the goal of my journey, too.” He continued. There was a slight disgusted face on Reiji’s face. “And the goal of my journey is you.”
Reiji was going to hit Kaito for saying trash again and again when his senses told him what he just heard. “You... Stop saying trash to me.” But there was a slight of pink on Reiji’s face.
“I’ve been wandering to countless worlds, seeking for treasures, and I thought I found my journey’s goal not too long ago, but I was wrong.” Kaito said, sounded more like mumbling. “I-I think I want to try with this goal...” Reiji never heard Kaito stuttered before, and he didn’t get what Kaito meant by ‘want to try with this goal’.
“I want to love and be loved again.” Kaito explained when he saw Reiji frowned. Blushing at what he just said.
Reiji slapped Kaito on the face, biting his lower lip in annoyance. “I told you to stop saying trash to me.” Kaito looked confused, but did nothing in respond. “You’re a smart mouthed guy, Kaito Daiki. ”
Kaito didn’t get Reiji at all. Why did he slap me?! What’s wrong with my words?! He thought. “I’m not saying trash, I don’t know where you got the idea of that.” Kaito exhaled, “I think I like you too, you know.”
Reiji eyes widen, was going to protest again when Kaito put his index finger on Reiji’s half opened mouth. “I am a thief, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a human who doesn’t need love.” Kaito said, without looking at Reiji. “This is kind of sudden for us both, and I told you I’m stubborn.” He drew his finger from Reiji’s mouth. Now I’m definitely saying trash, Kaito said in mind.
“Say Kaito, did you steal time and all to save my mother’s letters?” Reiji tried, wanting to know the truth.
Kaito frowned, looking away. “Don’t get funny ideas! It was all for the sake of the unharmed gun”. He continued, scratching his un-itchy chin. “But you can keep that idea in your head if you want.”
“Kaito...” Reiji started with soft voice. “You’re really a smart mouthed guy.” Reiji smiled a little. “Can I... really trust you, about all?”
Kaito smiled wide, “Trust me.” He pecked Reiji’s lips, ignoring the muffled squeak Reiji made.
