one thing: WORST.
it was the worst match in world cup 2010 ever!
like seriously. its not only because england played all dumb and spiritless *like they already had a place in the next stage* and how in contrary algeria did a great job as a country with FIFA ranking 22nd lower than england.
they did more than a great job! they gave england terrors!
at the first half, i could say that it was all algeria's.
they had all the ball possesion and had all the chances.
thank god they still "algeria" and they dont have a world class striker like we do, that it went 0-0 in the first half.
because england was busy stretching their legs to avoid algerian to score a goal, england almost did nothing to score a goal in the first half.
no critical chance at all.
the shots was too high, the passes was too long, too high and we lost control of the ball VERY easily.
that was because algeria put a very strict man to man marking against us.
every single man in england was marked by 1 or 2 algerian, made us very easy to intercepted.
at half time, all supporters grumbled bout how boring this match was, that england player should drink something to gain more spirit and power, this wasnt a friendly match, and so on.
me personally, have no idea why england played all sucks.
some said that it was the high expectation, but i think every seeded country feel the same thing too?
At the second half, it looked better. At least england had regain their composure and possesed the ball, eventhough algeria lurked for a counter attack in every single minute *and they DID some counter attacks*
but still, no chance.
the shots, the passes, the corner kicks, were all sucks.
no goal and i think no crucial attempt at all.
so, worst match, one point for us. england have to face slovenia, the table topper, with only 2 points in hand.
