My Dad has a habit of giving people heart attacks. When my brother's wife was pregnant, he announced to his best friend he was about to become a father, Ray nearly fainted thinking he was referring to me.
Dad told my Uncle today that his "little girl was engaged to be married". My Uncle very cautiously approached the subject to see exactly how Dad felt about this. Dad of course was "delighted, deleriously happy" much to my Uncles surprise...it was only several ("medicinal nerve settling") whiskeys later that they managed to clear up the misunderstanding that it was my sister, and not me that was engaged XD
