So, there are a number of things I should try and do in the short-term future. My avoidant tendencies often mean I will simply not think about such things, or effectively forget them. So it might seem logical for me to make a really obvious (marker pen and stick it on the wall behind my computer screens) TODO list to make sure I get them done.
Except part of me knows that if I have the list staring at me like that the likely outcome is that I'll go into hyper-avoidance mode about all of it.
