Been a craaazy week . . . I'm now just hitting 50 k words on the next book after Coronets. Did everyone else have a creative June?

I wrote over a thousand words yesterday--more than twice as much as any other day of the month. So I don't know about June, but I had a productive June 30.

But today work is back. All for the best. Must keep the pennies coming in.

Well, you know about how I finished my story. Incidentally, I also completed my Finals, physics being the last one, yesterday.

I did get one short story done in June, although it was rejected by the theme anthology for which it was written and I'm now stuck trying to see if it's so tightly focused on that theme that it's not particularly marketable elsewhere (always a risk when writing a story for a themed anthology).

And I've done a fair amount on another story, also intended for a theme anthology. We'll see what happens with it. I need to get it done and ready to send by a week from today, because then we leave for vacation and the deadline hits while we're gone. (I'll have the laptop with me and will have at least limited Internet access, but I don't want to be trying to do final edits without a printer and with uncertain Internet access, so I'm planning to send it before we leave).

Aha, so I was wrong and Wren didn't get captured! Well, i'm glad--and glad she's met up with Connor.
