Yep, I'm Up Late
Yeah, so I'm just kind of blah right now. I have been working on my homework on and off since about 6:30 this evening and I haven't even started school!!! I decided to print off a bunch of journals and articles that my professor said we had to read before class started and I ended up printing off somewhere around 100 pages. What the fuck is up with that? Well, I started reading some of the articles and most of them turned out to be stuff that I already knew, so it wasn't a big deal but I decided to read them anyways just to make sure. I kind of gave up on reading while I was at Denny's only because I started getting a headache from highlighting. I'm just leaving the longer articles for tomorrow, which I don't think it should take too long. Also, my two books that I ordered should arrive sometime tomorrow so I'll be able to do the rest of my homework. Hopefully it won't take anymore than two hours.
So...I guess all that's really new in my life is the fact that I'm job hunting. I still have my job at Pier 1 Imports, but I'm not getting hours for shit and I feel like I'm always strapped for cash. I hate the fact that Alex pays for just about everything. I want to be able to pay for stuff too, so he doesn't spend his check on me cause he's not doing much better with money considering that Discount Tire is giving him less hours since it's the slow time of the year for them.
What else??? I start University of Phoenix on Tuesday and as you read above, I've been doing quite a bit of homework. I realized now what they mean by accelerated courses. You basically get three times more homework. So far it's okay, I'm just hoping that I'll be able to make it through so I finally get a degree.
Blah, blah, blah...I'm bored. I've been thinking lately how I feel old. I'm not old, but I feel like I am. It sucks. I'm going to be 24 in a couple of weeks and what have I accomplished in my life? Nothing. At least nothing that I can think of right now. Grr...I hate getting older.
Anyways, I just felt like typing something on here to update people on what I've been up to. As you see, not much, but hopefully things will change soon.
