[OPEN CITIZEN FILTER because you don't pay attention to this sort of thing when bleeding. And Bel is. Like, a lot.]

"What happened?" [He asked quietly, refraining from judgment yet. Moving forward, he crouched down to take a look at the wounds.]

"New face, tried to corner me into talking, I hit him, he sliced me, resistance fuckers showed up." [A hiss of pain, and does Bel look fevered? Why yes, he does.] "My guys are dealing with it."

[He thought about mentioning the smarter strategy, of keeping people to watch Bel, to the other man, but to do so seemed too protective. They weren't close friends, after all.]

[He grimaced as he got to his feet, and another lance of pain shot up his arm. There was a momentary fuzzing in the air around him, and pink skin changed to red and black, and Bel was suddenly not himself. It only lasted a moment before he shifted back into his human form. "I saw it. What is it?" [For reasons unknown, the killer pictured a watch and it was as if he could hear a ticking in the back of his mind. He wanted to know how Belthazor had done that.. But he suppressed the notion for now.]

[He paused, looking over himself as if expecting it to happen again. When nothing occurred, he glanced back at Sylar, then started walking toward the other head goon's hovercar. He didn't like the things, never had, but beggars couldn't be choosers.]
"There was something weird about that guy... Maybe he did this," [he muttered.] "Hell if I know how, but."

"You don't know who it was?" [He confirmed as they were climbing in.] "Was it a normal blade?"

"Nah, probably one of those intruders off the barge - dressed weird enough for it. ...I don't know, it wasn't glowing or any shit like that. Hurts like hell though."

[Sylar snapped his door closed after sliding into the driver's seat, clicking the hovercar into gear and launching off toward their home base and medical center. His eyes didn't move from the windshield, though his peripheral vision still held Bel enough to notice if the man changed again.]

"...Fuck." [A quick, suspicious glance over at Sylar.] "Tell me you can keep your mouth shut about this. I don't want to end up on Brennan's vivisection table."
Reply
"I won't tell anyone." [Unless it make beneficial. Because he wanted to understand it before anyone else did.]
