The Great Collider will be ready for action the first of the year. I can hardly wait! Built on the boarder of France and Switzerland the diameter is 17 miles!--but the beam pipe is only an inch or so wide. Accelerating particles to nearly the speed of light, they will look for the Higgs field that physicists theorize determines what is matter or energy. I have the feeling that we may be peeling an onion. What if there are more layers?
