Water is out. We've got an electrical problem somewhere between the house and the outbuilding ("toolroom") where the sub panel is located. I fooled with it for a little while last night and then took a cold bath with 5 gallons of rainwater from the barrel. Tonight I'll get back to it, and hopefully figure it out. What scares me a little is if its an underground problem....
I got a phone call from the Sheetz store on Route 40. They have Vicky's cell phone. It's been missing for months. We thought that she'd dropped it out in the fields somewhere. Cool.
My ankle hurts like crazy, but I am getting around.
I bought 6 pairs of shoes! I have wide small feet (8.5 EEEEE) and the Hitchcock catalog came with a half price sale on the New Balance shoes I wear to work (almost a dress shoe). It also said they were not making that shoe anymore. Made in USA of course. So I took the plunge, got online and bought 6 pairs, hoping I will not have to buy another pair til I retire... We'll see.
