So. I tried the smut thing. Result? I don't think smut is my forte. I am not actually even sure if this qualifies for smut, but what the hell. I'll let you judge for yourself. And don't laugh!

I feel kind of sorry for Alex and Heph's wives really, if it isn't dancing eunuchs it's their husbands calling out other names at inappropriate moments.

It's not only a sensual piece but's there is also a good bit of characterization in it, and I loved it..
I really feel pity for the poor girl...It must not have been easy to be Alexander' or Hephaistion's wife...
I loved the way you depicted the sexual scene on two levels: the one of Drypetis, and the scene happening in Hephaistion's mind; very original and also effective...
A great story, really!^^

I have to say though I don't know how much their wives would have cared if their husbands fantasized about other people when they were together - these were purely political marriages after all, it's not like these women wed for love. And if a little fantasy lets the poor bastard get the job done, then everyone's a winner, right? Hehehe.

Hephaestion's trail of thought was interesting and how his desire changes while following it. Your Heph is not bi (none knows if he was) so his effort (which was again for Alexander) was interesting to watch :p
Heh poor Drypetis lucky bitch , being left with a WTF in her head. I guess none had time to let her know

What are you implying, that I'm a closet smut-fiend? ;) Well, I will admit I have written a few sex scenes before, but I don't think I really capture the true nature of smut. Still, it was fun to try.
And Hephaistion? Yeah. So not bi. Definately have to give the boy points for effort, don't you think?
As for Drypetis ... not sure if anyone would have told her those sorts of sordid details about her future husband or not. The Persians took a fairly dim view of that kind of carry on between men, after all - maybe she honestly didn't know. Or maybe she did, but didn't think it was going to end up being an issue in her marriage bed, who knows? But yeah, I think that would be a WTF moment, for sure. ;)
