Hey people how are you all? I'm fine. It's eight o'clock on a Saturday morning. (as opposed no nine a clock on a Saturday where the regular crowd shuffles in...) Anywho, I haven't really written anything in roughly a week I thin, so I'll just start.
Last week was spring week (yay...more meaningless school spirit) Monday and Tuesday were pretty much eneventful except for the fact that Jessica was taking a (figurative) vacation, which was cool because she's back now. Also Aaron and I continued to talk (for anyone who knows what I'm talkinga bout, just assume this happens for the rest of the week)
Wednesday was mass...no one really cares about that though. Just another dumb history lesson from Fr. Bartos. That mean seriously thinks people like him. I really don't know why. Doesn't he know that priests are supposed to be jolly people who are supposed to be easygoing and happy-go-lucky? Maybe he doesn't...oh well, what are you going to to about it? SUCK IT UP!!!
Thursday was a pep rally. Sometimes I really wonder why they bother. They should just let us out of school early that day. No one really pays attention to them. All I hear is the microphone echoing incessantly in addition to the buzzing in my ears. I was sitting there playing with my rubik's cube. Oh! I forgot to tell you about Cosgrove's game!
To review for our test, cosgrove played a game of Jeopardy. Monday and Tuesday I was with Tico, Eileen, and Lauren. Needless to say, we didn't pick the teams hehe. We lost considering that we didn't have lauren for one day. It was fun trying to figure out what to use as buzzers. Originally we just called out stuff, but that wasn't working. So he gave us noisemakers. What with whistles, bicycle horns and something else, you can imagine why we went nearly deaf. We ended up coming up with a plan where we wrote down the correct answer on a piece of paper and then held it up so everyone who got it right got a point. The next few days, the paper was exchanged for whiteboards so it was cool. Wednesday and Thursday I was in a team with Ross, Aaron, and Chris. It was a pretty close tie between us and the team consisting of Clelia, in the end, we all tied, so he started chucking things at us to keep. I got a rubik's cube and I've been working on it for like the rest of the week. It's really frustrating. Speaking of games in Cosgrove, we voted on Survivor. As predicted, Camile got voted off. I think Doug’s going to get voted off next week, because finally, the votes are starting to go with logic. Eventually though, people are going to run out of people to vote off, so random people are going to be targeted, I can’t believe I’m still on here. That’s pretty cool.
Friday was career day. I had only three speakers. In Cosgrove we were going to walk around the little exhibit they had outside, but it wouldn’t be ready ‘till nine. Damn it! So we reviewed for the test a little more. In Spanish class I got a human resources person. Don’t ask me what they do. I don’t get it. My Bible II class had a sister; she was really nice. And finally, in Chemistry I had an administration person at Westside Hospital. And that’s pretty much it for Friday because I went home and talked with my mom.
Yes, you read that line correctly I talked with my mom. Not to, with! It’s just that I see people like Alex D. who’re really close with their mom and I don’t want to be looking back and being like hey, I wish I had been able to talk with my mom. So I figured I should be able to talk to her so she can trust me and vice versa. On Friday we just talked about crap like her childhood, her opinions and what not and it was fun. Then we got into something we were discussing earlier concerning me going to the movies with me and one other person. She’s like no because I don’t know them and I don’t think they’re very nice on the phone and blah, blah, blah. So after a little bit of discussing that she mentioned something that she knew that one time when I told her I was at the movies, I walked around instead. Apparently one of her friends had told her that she saw me. Oh friggin well, I kind of just waved it off as unimportant because I didn’t know what to say. So we were both kind of tired so I went to bed and wrote her a letter to give to her the next morning. Basically it said that I really wish we could be close so I could trust her not only as my parent, but as a friend and confidante. So the next day after I came back from the humane society, she told me she had read it and today we talked about all my issues, so that was cool. Granted, I left the more…er…intimate details out, but she still managed to get my point. I’m happy now.
Saturday was fun. In the morning (around seven) I had to go to the Humane Society for the orientation thing. It was pretty much a discussion about what the society involves and what being a volunteer encompasses. Pretty much though, if you were there, you’re pretty much secured a position; it’s just a matter of scheduling. Kick-a right?!?! But then we had to wait for my sister’s car to be ready since she was getting it checked-up (is that even grammatically correct?) I got home around three and sat around watching MTV’s Spring Break ’04. (OMFG I HAVE TO MENTION THAT LATER!!!) And I talked to Aaron for a little bit. OK, fine it was a lot of bit, from like 5:30-10:00 at night but whatever it was still fun. I was going to go to the movies, but my mother was being a pain. Oh well, screw it. We played random questions game anywhere from G to R rated questions. The G-rated ones got really weird and well, random. Like can God microwave a burrito so hot that he himself couldn’t touch it? Then around eleven, I went to sleep because I was ridiculously tired. And that was my Saturday.
Ok, spring break! On MTV!!! You’ll never guess who I saw on there! SEAN WIBORG!!! Yea, he was on “I Want to Get Married on Spring Break!!” I was OMFG. It was soooo weird!!! He wanted to get married with his girlfriend from McCarthy. It was really weird because at first I saw him, and I saw his name, but I didn’t put two and two together until like WOAH!!! Imagine my shock!!!! Anyways, they’ll probably be showing it incessantly for the rest of the week, watch for it if you haven’t seen it already.
Sorry for that sudden outburst, anywho, I don’t have any homework so I’ll just write my journal entry, and hang out around my house. Maybe I’ll go into the pool later. I will see you all later Byezers!
