Severus felt like he was leading a bloody parade as the small group followed along behind him and Harry to the courthouse. Their appointment was for 2:00 and they had actually managed to arrive with time to spare. Aiden had fallen asleep along the way, and Severus was afraid that when he gave the boy to House to hold for the ceremony, he'd wake up and scream through the proceedings. He really didn't want to start his married life with Harry to the cries of their hastily adopted son. It couldn't bode well.
