Summary: Remus and Sirius just stormed out like children left, leaving Snape and Harry to deal with a now upset Aiden.

Harry grabbed his wand off the dresser and cut off Severus' shirt with a few flicks of his wand. "Better?"

"Oh yes, that was helpful thank you," Severus said, rolling his eyes. "Either take Aiden or get a clean nappy. Standing there and undressing me is not going to stop him from crying."

"But it's making me happy." Harry moved forward, taking Aiden out of Severus' arms. "If you leak on me, Mister, there will be consequences, you hear me?"

"Thank you," Severus said, grabbing a nappy from the bag. He wasn't surprised that Aiden quieted once he was in Harry's arms. "He likes you," Severus said, before turning his attention to the nappy.

"I should have paid better attention to how this was put on before I banished it," he said, frowning.

"Does it have velcro sides?" Harry asked, hope in his tone. He didn't fancy learning how to fold those cloth ones, and the thought of washing that kind disgusted him.

"What on earth is a velcro?" Severus asked. "Hold him up."

Severus waited until Harry lifted Aiden away from his body before wrapping the nappy around the baby's bum. A moment later, it fitted itself to his body. Surprised, Severus stepped back and looked at Harry. "Perhaps we shouldn't banish these when they become soiled," he said thoughtfully. He doubted Muggles produced anything quite so handy.

Harry nodded absently as he gave a gentle tug on the nappy. It fit perfectly. Mystified, he readjusted Aiden in his arms so he wasn't dangling above the ground.

"I didn't know they had a charm for that."

"Nor did I," Severus admitted. "I'll floo call Minerva in the morning and find out what we're supposed to do with them. If we need to buy more, I'll ask her to get them for us and we can send Bart for them." Severus looked at Harry, his eyes widening a fraction. "When shall we tell Bart he has a little brother?" he asked, smirking.

"Tomorrow, please," Harry begged through a yawn. Fighting had knocked him clean off his feet, and now that the Aiden problem was settled, all he wanted to do was crawl into bed and not move until morning.

Severus watched Aiden suck on his own fist for a moment before looking at Harry. "Do you think he's hungry again? Or did he just want a clean nappy?"
He'd lost track of time and was unsure of how long Aiden had been down before Lupin and Black had invaded.

"He might be," Harry said, unsure of the answer himself. Between House and the screaming and Remus and Sirius and the door slamming Harry didn't even know what time it was anymore.

"I'm not going to attempt feeding him with a spoon again tonight," Severus said, running a hand through his hair. "If you'll help me prepare a bottle, I'll feed him and you can try and sleep," he said, frowning at how tired Harry looked.

Harry gazed at Severus for a moment before nodding. He rubbed his cheek against Aiden's ear and hair in a lethargic motion. Aiden was still sucking away on his fist, and Harry could feel the wet fingers graze the underside of his ear. "All right."

"Unless you wish to feed him," Severus said, noticing the way Harry was nuzzling against the boy.

Severus nodded and Harry kept Aiden while he went about heating up the bottle for the baby. As Harry stretched out on the bed, Severus sat next to him, leaning against the headboard. It took him a moment to get Aiden cradled right, and he squirmed until the nipple of the bottle touched his lips. Then he was content to drink his bottle and stare up at Severus.

"He staring at me," Severus said softly, unsure of what to make of it.
